Remembering Dick Hoyt

The Sunrise family was saddened to hear about the passing of Dick Hoyt, Boston Marathon icon and disability advocate. Dick and his son, Rick, are recognized within the disability community for running in 32 Boston Marathons together. Although Sunrise will mourn his loss, his legacy and the impact of his accomplishments will live on for years to come.

At one of our locations Dan Childs, Behavioral Specialist, felt compelled to further emphasize the importance of getting vaccinated.

Refuge From the Storm

Our Refuge from the Storm program was developed so that the needs of people with disabilities are thoroughly covered during the hurricane season. This Give Miami Day, November 19th, we encourage you to share our campaign with your friends and family.
