ANCOR Policy Summit and Hill Day 2022

On Friday, October 14th, Board Chair Steve Weinger and I attended the 35th Annual Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Miami Chapter Endowment Fund Luncheon. At the luncheon, a member of the Sunrise Board of Directors, Connie Crowther, was honored with the Bill Adams Lifetime Achievement Award.

Celebrating Direct Support Professional Recognition Week in 2022

For the 2022 Direct Support Professional Recognition Week celebration, the Sunrise Branding committee held an organization-wide art contest for the people we serve. The contest asked participants to share artwork illustrating what “unconditional support” means to them. The winner would have their artwork printed on the back of the shirts gifted to all 2,000+ Direct Support Professionals.

United Way & Otis Elevators Adds a Splash of Color!

One of the best and most engaging ways to completely transform the atmosphere of any room is by giving it a fresh coat of paint. United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut and their corporate partner OTIS Elevators was kind enough to do just that a couple of weeks ago at Sunrise’s Day Program in Hartford, CT.
