On behalf of the Sunrise Northeast Opportunities team and our campers who, while spread throughout the state, remain with us in spirit, thank you Hartford Foundation for your continuing support for people with disabilities.

On behalf of Sunrise staff and especially on behalf of the children and their families attending our new center, thank you Hillsborough County for investing in our children’s future!

The 30th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act grants us an opportunity to celebrate those with a disability and all the efforts that have taken place to make the United States more accessible and inclusive. It is also a chance to pause and reflect on the barriers that are still in place today and the efforts needed to further the purpose of the ADA.
