Stacy Songer began her career with Sunrise in Greeneville, Tennessee on June 16, 2009. She was hired as a temporary Program Coordinator with over 10 years of experience as a Direct Support Professional. While at Sunrise, Stacy’s drive and strong leadership skills enabled her to successfully fill the Director of Residential Services, Director of Operations, and now as the Interim Executive Director in Greeneville.
One of Stacy’s major accomplishments was to be part of the team which opened the first Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) in Tennessee on May 2, 2017. Stacy’s “Can Do” attitude has always served her well throughout her employment with Sunrise.
Stacy is now about to experience another major accomplishment. She decided to return to school while working full-time and will soon be graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Behavioral Health. After many early mornings and late nights of studying for tests and submitting papers, we are so proud to announce that Stacy will be graduating on May 8, 2021. Stacy is the heart of the Greeneville Operation!
