About

Join us for an exquisite evening of swirling, sipping, and supporting a fantastic cause! Taste Meet Learn (Miami) is an event that promises to indulge your taste buds while making a meaningful difference in the lives of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities supported by Sunrise Community.

Kristin Garemani joins us from California to taste 3 of her award-winning, single vineyard wines and share her passion for making exceptional varietals. Garemani Wines has won 52 awards from major wine competitions, including the San Francisco International Wine Competition, the Central Coast Wine Competition, the Los Angeles Wine Competition, the International Women’s Wine Competition, and the New York International Wine Competition.

George Rodez is a self-taught artist whose strength is his diversity, allowing himself the freedom to create multiple bodies of work, each vastly different from the other. In his experiences with his mother’s mental illness, including multiple personalities, Rodez observed that each personality manifested had a different strength and purpose. Rodez has taken that lesson and similarly incorporated it into his art, with each body of work providing him different experiences and allowing all his personalities to show through. Rodez enjoys and believes in participating to help the community by making art contributions to raise money for charitable organizations. He believes that being an advocate for mental health is his mission and the very purpose of his art and career.
