Since 1988, Sunrise Northeast has provided critical residential support and life skills training, transforming lives across Connecticut. But our legacy runs even deeper. Through our cherished Camp Harkness program, which has been part of the Waterford community since the 1950s, we’ve created countless magical summers for adults with disabilities.
From campfire singalongs to exciting group outings, Camp Harkness provides not only enriching experiences for our campers but also much-needed respite for their families. It’s a place of joy, growth, and lasting memories—a true summer haven.
