As part of this year’s DSP Recognition Week, we are excited to announce the winner of Sunrise Community’s DSP Week Artwork Design!
Each year, our organization looks forward to honoring the incredible work of our Direct Support Professionals while also showcasing the creativity within our community.
This year’s winning design was created by Taineira G., a talented person supported at Sunrise Community of Northeast Florida in Daytona. Inspired by her love of turtles, fish, and the ocean, she shared: “I love drawing, and I love turtles and fish because they are smart. I also love the beach.”
Her ocean-inspired artwork beautifully captures the heart of what DSPs mean to the persons supported at Sunrise. The design reflects the compassion, dedication, and strength that DSPs bring to their role each and every day.
We are proud to highlight this meaningful piece of art as part of our celebration. It stands as a reminder of the powerful impact DSPs have, not just in the lives of the people they support, but across the entire Sunrise family.
