Direct Support Professional

Location:

Statewide

Duties:


  • Provides support and assistance to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities to enable them to live valued lives in the community
  • Oversees the health and safety of all individuals at all times
  • Reports any changes in health or behavioral status immediately
  • Implements trainings, therapy and behavior programs and data collection required by the individuals' plans
  • Assists with ensuring that each home or program offers choice and creative activities within a positive and innovative environment
  • Performs all duties in compliance with agency directives, licensing standards, and policies/procedures

Qualifications:

  • Must successfully complete all required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License which meets company standards for approved driver status
  • Must posses basic computer skills
  • Must posses a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of experience working in the human service field (preferred but not required for ICF services)

Program Coordinator

Location:

CF - Volusia Daytona Homes

Duties:

Description of Duties:

  • Provides support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities to enable them to live valued lives in the community
  • Develops and coordinates individualized program plans, goals and supports with the individuals and their team
  • Ensures that Program Plans and documentation are completed in accordance with State and Federal regulations
  • Assists in monitoring and training of staff and outside parties to ensure accurate, implementation and documentation of training and behavior programs as required by the individuals’ plans
  • Assists in ensuring choices and person centered approaches are part of the daily routines
  • Works closely with Community Stakeholders such as local school, Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD), and Family Members and/or Professional Guardians
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Must possess basic computer skills
  • Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and as minimum, an Associate’s Degree
  • Experience working in the field of Developmental Disabilities preferred
  • Experience in writing program plans, case notes or other relevant documentation
