THANK YOU to the Miami Foundation & Our Donors

Thank you Miami! The Miami Foundation's Fifth Annual #GIveMiamiDay was another record-breaker!! Thank to the generosity of donors across South Florida the 24-hour online giving event successfully closed with more than 29,000 donors raising more than $9.1 million for local nonprofits like Sunrise. In addition, Sunrise reached our own milestone during #GiveMiamiDay with our #Reach25 campaign! With the help of #GiveMiamiDay, Sunrise will now be able to retrofit our 25th group home with hurricane shutters and weather resistance safety upgrades. We extend our deepest gratitude to all those who gave. This holiday season we are profoundly grateful to live and work in such a philanthropic community.

#GiveMiamiDay 2016: Help Us Reach 25 Homes

For those who may have missed the buzzed, Give Miami’s main objective remains helping local individuals, families and corporations connect with like-minded donors who share commitments to specific causes and organizations. Give Miami provides the transparency donors need to make the kind of decisions that turn a simple act of giving into a wise investment. As one of the inaugural participating charities, Sunrise is very proud to join in the fifth annual event. Please support us early… donations will be accepted at the strike of midnight on November 17, 2016 and will only be accepted for 24 hours. What’s more…donations will be matched between $25 and $10,000 by The Miami Foundation and its partners. Help Sunrise "Keep Them Covered."
